Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering for Women, Pune, was established in 2000 with an intake of 240 students, now upgraded to 309 for the academic year 2024-25. Our institute offers three undergraduate programs: Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Information Technology. Additionally, the institute offers a postgraduate program in M.E. (VLSI & Embedded Systems), providing students with advanced knowledge and skills in their chosen fields. The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department, established in 2000 with an intake of 60 students, has steadily grown and now accommodates 120 students for the undergraduate program. The department also offers a postgraduate program in M.E. (VLSI & Embedded Systems) with an intake of 9 students. With highly qualified faculty, state-of-the-art laboratories, and well-planned infrastructure, the department continually strive to meet the evolving needs of the educational landscape. The Computer Engineering department, established in 2000 with an intake of 60 students, has doubled its capacity to 120 students for the academic year 2024-25. and the intake has been further increased by 60 in the academic year 2025-2026. Additionally, the M.E. program in Computer Engineering has commenced in A.Y. 2025–26 with an intake of 12 students. The department aims to provide quality education in Computer Engineering, empowering students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success both nationally and internationally. The Information Technology department, also established in 2000 with an intake of 60 students, is dedicated to developing technical and analytical skills in students, fostering logical thinking, and preparing them for fulfilling careers in the IT profession. We achieve this through a team of young, dynamic, and highly qualified faculty members, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and active industry-institution interaction.
